Macmillan Support Centres

North Wales has Macmillan Support Centres based in Wrexham Maelor Hospital, Glan Clwyd Hospital and Ysbyty Gwynedd. They offer free confidential information and support to anyone who has a question / concern about cancer or who is simply in need of a ‘listening ear’ away from the clinical setting.
You can access leaflets and booklets and find a wide range of information, from local support groups to help with the financial problems cancer may create.
Macmillan Information and Support Coordinators offer face to face support to patients, families and friends in a comfortable and relaxed environment. They are also able to signpost and refer to other sources of support such as benefits advisors and social workers. Their usual working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm.
You don’t need an appointment to visit a Centre, but if you are making a special journey to talk to a Coordinator, we advise you to phone first to check their availability. Leaflets can be accessed from the Centres in Glan Clwyd Hospital and Ysbyty Gwynedd at any time.
